Title: PROPOSTA DE PROCEDIMENTOS OPERACIONAIS PADRONIZADOS PARA UMA AGROINDÚSTRIA DE POLPA DE FRUTAS
Abstract: Brazil stands out as one of the largest producers of fruits, ranking third globally. The logistical
challenge of transporting fruit over long distances and during the off-season has driven the
development of processing techniques, resulting in a variety of products such as juices, pulps,
and jams. The industrialization of fruit pulp has expanded the reach of the products, making
them accessible throughout the country, with a diversity of fruits from different regions. In this
context, the work proposed the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) in a
fruit pulp agroindustry, focusing on the identification of the importance of SOPs, understanding
the main stages of fruit pulp manufacturing and development of SOPs to sanitize the facilities
and ensure the health of the handlers. To achieve these objectives, the methodology involved
an exploratory review of the literature, collection of bibliographic data, descriptive and
explanatory analysis of the SOPs, as well as qualitative analysis of the practical challenges of
implementation. The qualitative analysis identified the challenges found in the literature in
relation to SOPs, while the quantitative analysis identified the efficiency of SOPs after their
practical implementation. The results of the implementation of SOPs highlighted their
importance in ensuring food quality and safety, as well as their contribution to optimizing
production and reducing errors. I concluded that the implementation of SOPs and Good
Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is essential to ensure the quality of products in a fruit pulp
agroindustry, promoting food safety and production efficiency

Title: CARACTERIZAÇÃO E PROPOSTA DE TRATAMENTO DE LODOS PROVENIENTES DE ESTAÇÃO DE TRATAMENTO DE ÁGUA DE UM MUNICÍPIO DE RONDÔNIA
Abstract: Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) are essential for providing high-quality water to the population.
However, many Brazilian states face challenges in managing sludge, an unavoidable solid waste
generated during these operations. Proper management of this waste is mandated by legislation
aimed at preventing environmental impacts. Nonetheless, sludge management involves
reducing the water content and increasing the concentration of suspended solids through the
combination of thickening and dewatering techniques, whether mechanized or natural. In this
context, the present study aims to characterize and quantify the sludge production in a WTP
located in a municipality in Rondônia, as well as to propose the most viable solutions for its
treatment and final disposal. The methodology consists of descriptive and exploratory research,
including data collection from the WTP and a literature review to suggest operational
improvements for sludge management. Based on the results obtained from physicochemical
analyses, it was observed that the sludge from the clarifier has significantly higher
concentrations of suspended solids and turbidity compared to the sludge from the filters.
Furthermore, it was possible to estimate the daily production of dry sludge, which amounts to
1,176.12 kg/day. The proposed treatment technique for the clarifier sludge was gravitational
thickening followed by centrifuge dewatering, with final disposal in a sanitary landfill.
Meanwhile, the filter sludge was directed to equalization tanks for reuse in the initial treatment
stage. Thus, this study provides valuable insights to assist in the management of sludge
generated in WTPs and supports decision-making in municipalities facing similar challenges
regarding sludge disposal

Title: DIMENSIONAMENTO DE UM SISTEMA WETLANDS CONSTRUÍDO PARA TRATAMENTO DE ÁGUAS RESIDUAIS DE UMA AGROINDÚSTRIA DE POLPA DE FRUTAS NO MUNICÍPIO DE ARIQUEMES – RO

Title: DELIMITAÇÃO DE ÁREA DE PRESERVAÇÃO PERMANENTE EM TOPO DE MORRO NA BACIA HIDROGRÁFICA DO RIO JAMARI
Abstract: Permanent Preservation Areas (APPs) on hilltops regulate runoff and reduce erosion, which are
essential for the environmental sustainability of river basins. However, the presence of human
activities in some APP areas points to challenges in the full protection of these spaces. Brazilian
environmental legislation seeks to balance environmental protection requirements with the
country's socioeconomic development, particularly pressures from the agricultural sector,
which have raised questions about the effectiveness of legal enforcement in sensitive areas,
such as river basins. In this regard, we sought to analyze the compliance between hilltop APPs
and the forest vegetation still present in these areas, in accordance with the Brazilian Forest
Code, in the Jamari River Basin (BHRJ). The methodology involved the acquisition of satellite
images and the processing of Digital Elevation Models (DEM) to generate slope and
hypsometry maps and to delimit the hilltop APPs using the free software QGIS, combined with
the GRASS, SAGA and GDAL resources. The analysis of the hilltops revealed altitudes ranging
from 100 to 566 meters and slopes reaching up to 89. The total area delimited as hilltop APP
was 693.0 km², of which 433.42 km² (62.54%) still have forest vegetation, 29.11% are
composed of pastures, while the remainder (8.34%) is represented by the classes of non-forest
natural formation, non-vegetated areas, water bodies and agriculture. The distribution of APPs
showed that the largest concentration is located in the southern portion of the basin.
